South African Amapiano act Jadenfunky links up with Musical Xhepard, ilovelethu, and Lington on a new upbeat tune, “Aykahlangani.”
Four-name collabs are a typical concept in South African Amapiano – but “Aykahlangani” deserves the lineup rather than just filling it. There’s some pre-established synergy on the producing side of this partnership since Jadenfunky and Musical Xhepard already have a working relationship courtesy of the “Kopano” EP with Who’s Meneer. The bass shows in the tightness of the record’s movement.
