Afrosounds and Highlife musician Somval from Anambra keeps his discography flowing with a new hit named “EZE” produced by Fabtunez.
In Igbo “EZE” means “King” – and the title conveys the kind of cultural weight that Eastern Nigerian artists have long wielded powerfully. Somval does not consider it music for empty praise. The concept is the convergence of celebration and gratitude — honoring greatness whether directed toward God, a person of authority or the spirit of excellence itself. The sort of complex cultural intent that gives “EZE” its depth beyond the groove.
Producer Fabtunez maintains the production warm and grounded in Highlife tradition while the elements of Afrosounds give it contemporary appeal.
