“BIG PERFORMER” extends the streak of Nigerian rapper and singer Blaqbonez in 2026, following the Asake-assisted “Chanel” and months after the deluxe version of No Excuses.
Blaqbonez is leaning into the confident, larger-than-life demeanor that has long defined his rap identity, with the launch of the song centered around the recurrent “big performer” phrase that had already began garnering traction online before the complete release.
The album drops as part of a two-song release with “FYP,” providing Blaqbonez with new content outside of the collaborations and additions that came with No Excuses Deluxe earlier in the year.
“BIG PERFORMER” follows May’s “Chanel” which saw him collaborate with Asake, but this track puts the spotlight firmly back on Blaqbonez and the confident persona that has driven some of his most well-known songs.
