Sony Music West Africa’s Onos teams up with gospel highlife minister Bidemi Olaoba for the release of “You Have Done Me Well,” produced by Kaydee Numbere.
The combination puts together two extremely different but complimentary gospel voices. Onos is a contemporary worship artist who became the first gospel artist from Nigeria on Sony Music after her signing with the label in November 2024.
But Bidemi Olaoba is a different flavor—Gospel Highlife in Fuji style, firmly ingrained in the Yoruba worship tradition. So the record contains two representations of Nigerian Christian music in the same area without either side surrendering who they are.
The idea is Thankfulness. “You Have Done Me Well” is a meditation on God’s faithfulness—the blessings, the protection, and the love that keep coming up in every season. But Onos and Bidemi Olaoba don’t make it an album that looks backward.
The praise has a zeal and a motion that takes the song into joy rather than just reflection. Because thanksgiving that looks back rapidly loses its power. This one lives through and through.
Kaydee Numbere’s production offers a refined yet warm bed for the record. So the arrangement is such that it fits both of the artists’ voices without forcing either one into a genre that they don’t naturally live in.
The single also adds to an already impressive 2026 ministry output for both singers. Bidemi Olaoba has a steady stream of releases through Olaoba Entertainment and Onos has a big Sony-backed repertoire. Both are creating real audiences that turn up for everything they release.
