“Water” opens All Hail Muyeez with Nigerian artist Muyeez diving headfirst into an essential element of Nigerian music history on his 2026 debut album.
The song interpolates lyrics from Fela Kuti’s “Water No Get Enemy”, providing a familiar touch to Muyeez’s own work while also tying the young vocalist to a far older musical legacy.
Larrylanes produced it, and the track has Fuji influences in the wider Afro-fusion style explored throughout the album. That method offers the opening song its own individuality before the project proceeds into its additional ideas.
