Mr Drew has teamed up with rapper Medikal again for their latest collaboration, “Steeze”, released in September 2026, a return to a familiar Ghanaian connection.
This isn’t the first time the two have worked together; they’ve collaborated on tunes like “This Year” and “S3K3.” This time it’s Mr Drew taking the melodic lead, with Medikal providing the rap contrast, an extension of a combo already recognizable to Ghanaian ears. The track follows “Weather 4 Two” featuring King Paluta in August.
Production is by Nxwrth who provides the tune with an Afrobeats foundation that allows for both singing and rapping passages. The arrangement keeps the two performances definitely apart without sacrificing its forward-moving beat.
Mr Drew already has a solid domestic portfolio and Medikal remains one of Ghana’s most recognizable contemporary rappers. It’s hardly a totally fresh partnership, and their previous collaborations mean there’s an audience for this reunion built in.
