Fally Ipupa – Honorable unique

Fally Ipupa, the Congolese rumba icon, returns to romantic territory with “Honorable Unique,” another track from his epic “XX: Délirium” album. The song is an homage to Romy Oyo and expands on concepts he established in 2022.

The album’s theme is the idea of the one unmatched person, a recurring theme in his oeuvre but this time with actual detail. “XX: Délirium” is 51 songs long, and the fact that he calls back to a previous theme so pointedly is really a testament to how much consistency he’s developing over the whole project.
