“Imibuzo” takes Sims Noreng right back to questioning following the bounce found by “Mabhebheza”.
No guest this time, just him working out whatever is on his mind alone. Beat slows down again, closer to the patience “Ko Morao” had than the punch of the last track.
He delivers it tentatively, more as a question than as a statement all through. And no hurry about how he works through it, giving each question space before moving on to the next.
Three tracks in and you can see the pattern taking shape, remembrance, celebration, back to searching. Nothing solved by the end of this one either.
Sit with “Imibuzo” when the questions are more important than any answers that might follow.
