Nigerian recording artist Skelvin teams up with Lagos rapper/singer Yan Yan on “Ghost”, a September 2026 single about the strains and losses of regular street life.
Skelvin addresses absent friends, financial hardship, survival and the search for relief in hard times. Yan Yan also adds another voice to the matter. The collab follows Skelvin’s release of “Galilee” in August.
Production from Young G Mozes allows both performers ample room to fill the writing and vocal exchanges without cluttering the arrangement.
The release sits inside a repertoire where Skelvin has steadily built acclaim for recordings steeped in relatable street experiences. Skelvin’s point of view remains in the center, while the presence of Yan Yan also provides a distinct voice.
