Nigerian singer Shoday continues his busy 2026 run with “MOVE,” a new Afrobeats track dropping months after the release of his debut album, HYBRID.
The record goes in a somewhat more movement-oriented direction, preserving its focus on rhythm, confidence and a lively social setting. It comes on the heels of the July release of Nakupenda: I Love You Summer Pack, a year in which Shoday has been regularly busy.
“MOVE” is built for instant impact, with a rhythm-led approach and catchy vocal delivery that takes the record. The setup maintains the excitement at the front and allows the hook to carry the song without a lot of clutter.
Shoday enters this album with more widespread footing following the chart success of “Paparazzi” with FOLA and a 2026 Headies Next Rated nomination. That expanding profile gives the one a solid audience to meet as he grows out his catalog beyond HYBRID.
