Following a string of solo releases throughout 2026, Nigerian rapper Lil Frosh continues to build on that momentum with NOW OR NEVER, his latest full-length effort and an eight-song album.
The project has Lil Frosh in the leading role, with Islambo and Wizkid appearing simply as guests. His sparse feature list gives him room to carry the record through his rap delivery, melodic instincts, and street-rooted composition.
NOW OR NEVER is still in the hip-hop genre. Its short approach linked rap space to much of his career, alternating between straight rap performances and more melodic passages. The relatively small tracklist also helps keep the endeavor on point rather than spreading the material throughout an excessive album.
The album comes as a second chance for Lil Frosh to build on a catalog that has been growing steadily since his early breakout years, after 2025’s Street Cred. His existing audience in Nigerian street-pop and indigenous rap gives the project a solid platform for greater listener attention.
