All Hail Muyeez, the debut album from Nigerian artist Muyeez, out in 2026, features “Ivy Carter” and is a project formed mostly by youthful confidence and a fast-changing career.
Muyeez takes that self-belief into the record without pushing any complicated notion around it. The song fits the self-assured tone of an album by an artist who has graduated from teenage breakout to full-length statement of his own.
The larger album relies on soul, afrobeat and electronic influences, with producer Larrylanes being a big factor in its sound direction. That expansive palette allows for recordings like “Ivy Carter” to exist outside of one fixed Afropop format.
Its placement on All Hail Muyeez also points to how much of the album hinges on Muyeez carrying the material with personality and presence, a vital test for his debut full-length release.
