Northern Ghana music star, Fancy Gadam, has collaborated with P-Square great, Rudeboy to release a new track dubbed “I Don’t Need You”.

This cross-border collab brings together two of West Africa’s most acclaimed talents on the same album, and the subject matter couldn’t be more suited to each of them. Fancy Gadam opens up about betrayal and choosing to walk away from a relationship that no longer makes sense. Instead of sounding bitter, the record leans into healing and self-worth. That emotional element is what makes “I Don’t Need You” so appealing on a larger scale outside of the artists’ current fan bases.

Rudeboy is not only lending his name here. He has that soulful, experienced delivery that makes him one half of one of Africa’s best duos. His vocals also bring a Nigerian warmth that complements Fancy Gadam’s sound influenced by Northern Ghana without either one dragging the song in separate directions.

Since dropping, the album has already received major attention from fans in Ghana, Nigeria and across the continent.
