South African Gqom duo Woza Bakzin and GoldMax have collaborated with Naitor and Assiye Bongzin for new track “Isgxivizo.”
The collaboration comes as the duo has been on a busy run of releases in 2026, with “Isgxivizo” arriving through Afrotainment and numerous additional tracks coming from Woza Bakzin, GoldMax and members of the South African Gqom community.
Naitor and Assiye Bongzin are names that have become known in the Woza Bakzin and GoldMax circle as they have worked together on past releases. They have previously worked together on tracks like “Amashubheshu”. Woza Bakzin and GoldMax have also cooperated with both musicians on other Gqom records.
The album is listed by Beatport as 125 BPM in E-flat minor, and is definitely on the dance side of the South African scene.
Another collab moment in the current Gqom wave, “Isgxivizo” has Woza Bakzin, GoldMax, Naitor and Assiye Bongzin all at the top for the same tune.
