Riding the Hill and Gully Riddim on “Woii,” which has already garnered over 790,000 plays on Audiomack alone, Valiant is releasing April 28 through Di Genius Production and ONErpm.

Di Genius also produced the tune on top of building the riddim, giving “Woii” a deeper creative link between performer and producer than most dancehall hits carry. There’s more to the song’s craft than a brief studio session, however, as Stephen McGregor and Raheem Bowes co-wrote the track.

Two minutes thirty-six seconds. Valiant doesn’t waste a thing. He gets straight to the point, talking about a lady feeling herself on the dance floor and the effect that has. Jamaican patois runs seamlessly throughout, with the hook coming around the 45-second mark where most listeners keep rewinding according to Shazam data.

The Hill and Gully Riddim also gives “Woii” that classic, peppy dancehall bounce that old school fans recognize, but still sounds current enough for newer audiences. Valiant has been steady with tracks like “Expensive,” “Narcissistic,” and “Mad Out” this year. But “Woii” sounds like one of his catchier hooks so far in 2026.
