‘DADI’ is the latest 2026 release from Nigerian Hausa singer and composer Umar M Shareef, released on 21 August via Shareef Studios Invest Nig Ltd.
Umar M Shareef is at the center of the record, carrying a song that continues his regular output in northern Nigeria’s Hausa pop scene and the larger audience he has built through music and Kannywood.
“DADI” is produced by Mahadi Gramr, and its three-minute, twenty-three-second runtime makes for a concise, laser-sharp look at the singer’s performance.
The single serves as a teaser for SOYAYYA TA, Shareef’s eight-track album released in late 2025, giving him a chance to flex new material as he moves past that project and into another chapter of his discography.
