Nigerian Afrobeats star Kwate continues his campaign for 2026 with “Get Wet 4 Daddy”, a solo track following a year that’s already featured the From Me to You EP and a variety of standalone releases.
The record leans into flirting and sexual appeal through its direct presentation, taking a fun, adult-oriented style. It follows July’s “Fame & Fortune,” taking Kwate away from the ambition-driven tone of that release to something more private and lighthearted.
The arrangement stays tight and centered on the vocals, propelling the song along without overstaying its fundamental notion. The brief structure means that the hook and repeated words maintain the focus of the song.
Kwate enters the release with greater visibility after “Usain Bolt (Speed)” topped Nigeria’s Shazam list in 2025. That momentum, plus his huge backlog of Afrobeats tunes, means the new track has an audience already there to latch onto.
