Zimbabwean Dancehall artist Jah Child joins hands with Spirit ZW on a new single, “Murudo,” produced by Spirit Fingers and released in July 2026.
This year Jah Child has been one of the more prominent voices in Zimbabwe’s Dancehall industry. Earlier in May, “Ndinewe” under Passion Java Records demonstrated that he is not slowing down, and “Murudo” continues with the same momentum without repeating the same energy.
Spirit ZW’s contribution adds a different vibe to the record than Jah Child’s solo performance. Also, the production by Spirit Fingers ties both collaborators together naturally rather than making it feel like a forced pairing. It’s solidly in the Zimdancehall framework his fans are used to but is still something fresh on the table.
Consistent releases from musicians like Jah Child go a long way in Zimdancehall producing tunes that reach beyond Zimbabwe’s borders.
