Nigerian rappers Erigga and EESKAY team up with Cleanblack Music on the collaborative EP North & South, a six-track 2026.
The record leans on focus and tenacity, and an idea Erigga has also publicly linked with the song through his message about staying devoted even when people fail to recognize what you bring to the table.
The arrangement is credited to Kachisicho “Jefe” Ayogu-Eze, with production credits to Jayscilla. The tune is presented in rap and is short enough at two minutes and 52 seconds to allow Erigga and EESKAY to be able to carry their parts.
“Locked In” in North & South revisits the project’s preoccupations with resolve and the stresses of advancement, fitting snugly within a partnership built from two distinct regional rap viewpoints.
