DjY Mow Sa is back with another release, just days after “Into My Eyes”. This time he rounds the whole circle together on “Busa,” with Vibekulture Sa, Jayy Scott, Lethabile 012 and Pop Diller.

Five voices on one record is audacious. But everybody here already has a common history. DjY Mow Sa and Vibekulture Sa have been collaborating since “Mow’Vibe” and “Rambo.” Jayy Scott has also been in touch with both, through recordings like “S4D” and “New Wave.” Earlier, DjY Mow Sa was featured on “NAZOKE” with Lethabile 012. So the chemistry was there across all five before anyone pushed record.

“Busa” is released by Sixxtune Africa and operates in that deep underground Amapiano space that the whole collective is involved in. New to the mix and bringing something new to the table, Pop Diller fills out the roster with familiar vigor.

What generally prevents a five-person team from disintegrating is the clarity that each participant has about his position. That’s what everybody does here. No one crosses their lane.
