Nigerian disk jockey and recording artist Deejay J Masta has kicked off the campaign for his next EP with “Parawa”, a solo track released on 14 August 2026.
Deejay J Masta has a more rap-wise approach to the record, focusing more on his bars and presence, rather than basing the release around guest appearances.
The song was created by Loud Silens, maintaining J Masta’s pattern of collaborating with a different producer on each album. The production is the basis for a performance directed firmly toward his street-facing audience.
“Parawa” comes on the heels of “Mmili (Remix)” with Highstarlavista and Rord Kelly in April, but being the first taste of a forthcoming EP makes it more meaningful in what J Masta is cooking next.
