Drums thinned out here, the bassline warmer than the prior five tracks, closer to “Through The Pain” in vibe yet somehow softer. Space opens where the prior tracks left none.
Now his voice is softer, closer to thanks this time, with less grit and less correction. A held note toward the conclusion feels less like acting angenuine reliefef genuinely coming.
Sixth track, and it sounds like the breath after all that was before. Hustle, anguish, correction, refusal, company, and now at last something like healing.
