Weku Smoke gets the speed back up on “Bombele,” straying from the quiet “Soul Healer” just nestled in.
Here comes the log drum, a break from the drill-heavy foundation going through this whole run so far. Bassline bounces looser too, more Amapiano-leaning than anything else in this period.
His delivery loosens with it, less hurried, more lighthearted than anything since “Power House.” The rest certainly did something; the tension from earlier was not carrying over.
Now we’re on track seven, and it’s not only the atmosphere, but the sound changes. Apparently, after mending comes something closer to real lightness.
