On “Okwantunii,” Kweku Smoke uncorks to something plainer, stepping down from the reverence “Hallelujah” brought.

Mid-tempo, bass constant, not as heavy as the drill tunes early on this run, nor as light as ‘Bombele.’ It sits somewhere in the middle—not rushed, but not grasping for weight either.

His delivery is also of that middle ground, more conversational than urgent or devout. Bars are simple, almost like thinking out loud instead of conveying a point.

Now we’re on track nine, and this one doesn’t advance the arc like the others did. It merely quietly exists after all that was before it.
