Ghanaian rap heavyweight Kweku Smoke revisits themes of belief and perseverance on “Faith”, a 2026 duet with Ghanaian singer Lasmid produced by MOG Beatz.
Kweku Smoke raps with that resilient perspective that has come up so often in his lyricism on the record while Lasmid offers a more melodic presence to the partnership. The song’s about keeping the faith under pressure and the uncertainty that frequently accompanies ambition.
MOG Beatz is on the production providing both artists space to explore inside a Hip-Hop/rap setting, but not at the expense of the contrast between Smoke’s lyrical delivery and Lasmid’s singing approach.
“Faith” follows Kweku Smoke’s July collaboration with Sarkodie on “Major League” and his last project, Scatter Der, which was released in late 2025. So the new track puts the spotlight back on his own collection following that high-profile collaboration.
