Nigerian indigenous artist CDQ adds “BADDO” to a busy 2026 run that has kept him firmly active inside the country’s street-rap circuit.
CDQ has the record with energetic rap verses, Yoruba and Pidgin phrasing, strong ad-libs and a repeated refrain that instantly sets the tone of the song.
The production gives his delivery enough of space, with the hook returning often enough to make the tune distinctive, but the verses contribute most of its movement and individuality.
The song is following up on a string of releases, including “Hola,” “BATA QUDI BATA,” “Kawasaki” and “Uyabalabala”, which reflects the constant pace CDQ has kept up all year, rather than waiting long periods between records.
