Well-known, talented Kenyan superstar Scar Mkadinali brings in Snight Braza for this great bop titled “I Miss You”
Well, the title says it all. Longing. This time Scar Mkadinali’s not hedging the feeling in metaphor. Snight Braza joining in is only another voice to the same pain.
The beat remains gentle, sad piano notes flowing over a sluggish, bare rhythm beneath. There is no hurry to a resolution here. The production just hangs there, allowing the absence to have real space to sit.
Scar Mkadinali sings with tremendous weight in his voice, not acting melancholy but letting it show organically. Doesn’t oversell the emotion with big moments or spectacular runs. Just honest, painful, steady about missing somebody.
Snight Braza enters in a similar understated fashion, adding to the ache instead of altering the mood. His contribution is more like shared sadness than a different view. Two voices missing the same person. Pretty much.
