De Niakeyz calls DJ Tearz SA back again for “Legend” with Sonic TSK in the mix for a tighter three-man crew.
Now on for the second DJ Tearz SA appearance in a row, so whatever chemistry clicked on “Ke Ba Sheile” certainly stuck. New to this race, however, is Sonic TSK. Bold title too; “Legend” doesn’t really allow much room for nuance in what it’s going for.
DJ Tearz SA’s production keeps the same tighter polish from last time, but more low end pushed forward today. Maybe it’s the touch of Sonic TSK behind the greater bass presence; can’t be sure. Beat, altogether, feels grander, as if it’s built to the weight of the title.
De Niakeyz ups the ante, sounding more forceful than on the watchful “Ke Ba Sheile”. Makes sense; you don’t release a song called “Legend” and then undersell your own verse. Here, confidence runs through every sentence.
Sonic TSK comes in with some real presence, matching De Niakeyz’s fervor as opposed to easing into it. DJ Tearz SA wraps things off, that same solid, seasoned weight he brought before. Three voices, one claim to make, and none of them backing down.
“Legend” is a straight up statement track, De Niakeyz and company not hiding behind nuance this time. Big title. Big energy. No apology for either. And sometimes that directness is effective.
