Rwandan brilliant producer and music creative Nessim joins forces with Vyroota for an energetic new tune titled “Toma”.
Ugandan producer/multi-instrumentalist Nessim Pan Production joins forces with Vyroota on a colourful new Afrobeats tune, “Toma,” released April 10, 2026, via ONErpm.
Nessim Mukuza is the kind of producer whose fingerprints you hear across numerous genres at once. His work has extended beyond his own releases and has influenced musicians in Uganda, Rwanda and the wider East African creative sphere. This means that “Toma” isn’t a first-time attempt at something novel but comes with genuine production lineage.
Vyroota takes the vocal lead here and does it with a buoyant, joyous approach that complements the bouncy basis of the tune beautifully. It is a song of joy, of movement, of cultural pride – the kind of themes that transcend across borders in East Africa without the need for translation.
Since its debut, the official music video has added a visual element to the song that has helped it trend throughout Uganda’s music platforms. The music video was written by Lyrical Ta and directed separately from the production credits.
