After the relaxed detour on “Flop Nawe,”. Brodie. Bro switches things up here, opting for something a bit more punchy and dancefloor-orientated. An excellent reminder that this EP isn’t stuck in one lane. Each track pulls a different string from the same overall chord.
The production is centered on rolling log drums and a groove made for movement. This gives “Bhumpa” that classic Amapiano pull from the gate. The beat is the same all the way through. And that keeps the energy up without making the setup too complicated.
