Wayvee drops “Sexxy” on June 20, the second half of his “Swavey Riddim/Sexxy” double release, and the two singles together highlight just how much ground he is covering as an artist right now.
“Swavey Riddim” with S.N.E was collaborative groove energy, whereas “Sexxy” is Swayvee doing something more personal. G’s record exists in that confident, smooth Afro-fusion realm he flows through freely. The title isn’t subtle, but the song has a chilled-down appeal to it, rather than anything forced.
Last year, Swayvee rode the enormous TikTok wave from “Us” and has been steadily releasing until 2026 with singles like “So Up,” “FAVELA,” and now this. His vocals are still just as calm throughout, and that’s always been his biggest strength since “Us” initially clicked.
